Rhino crisis!

A massive explosion in poaching in South Africa is causing a crisis in the world's largest population of Rhinos. In the last decade the number of Rhinos poached yearly has gone from around 10-15 to over 1,200.

New techniques for reducing the demand for Rhino horn. Making it easier to detect and mildly harmful if ingested.

South Africa is beefing up it's investigative teams. Using DNA testing to link poachers back to specific poached rhinos.
